About Us
Master technician German founded San Mateo Water Heater Pros after years of seeing Bay Area customers pushed toward expensive replacements when a simple repair would do. Starting with a single work van, honest advice and quality craftsmanship quickly turned local word-of-mouth into a full crew of licensed technicians serving the Peninsula.
Today, we have completed over 10,358 residential and commercial projects and $2.6 million in plumbing upgrades throughout San Mateo, Redwood City, and Burlingame. German still personally guides our work, ensuring we maintain our 98% client satisfaction rating on every installation and repair.
Our Mission
We provide safe, efficient hot water at fair prices, sizing systems like 50-gallon tanks or Navien units for families and cafes, following California Plumbing Code Section 507.2, and lowering energy bills with high-efficiency upgrades and state rebates.
Backed by 24/7 emergency support for leaks and burst tanks and clear upfront pricing, we aim to be your trusted lifelong plumbing crew for the next 12 years and beyond.

A Commitment to Excellence
We have been fixing and installing water heaters around San Mateo for 20+ years, and we still care about every job as much as we did on day 1. That goes for a condensing system in a downtown restaurant, a tankless upgrade in a Belmont hillside home, or a leaking 40-gallon tank in a Foster City garage.
Before we leave, we double-check your venting, walk you through your settings, and clean up so your space looks better than when we arrived. With 10,358 projects completed, San Mateo Water Heater Pros still treats every home and business like it belongs to one of our neighbors, because it usually does.
